A camel pregnancy test you run on the farm

We are developing a test strip that takes a drop of blood and is read by your phone. The result goes straight into that camel's record in the Madani app.

Not for sale yet. No launch date has been announced.

How it is meant to work

  1. A drop of blood on the strip

The test checks progesterone, the hormone that stays high when a female camel is pregnant.

  2. Your phone reads it

The Madani app reads the strip through the camera, so the reading does not depend on judging a line by eye.

  3. The result joins her record

Saved with its date beside her matings, ready for your next decision.

Who we want to work with

The test is still in development and validation. We are talking to three kinds of partners now.

Distributors

Veterinary suppliers and distributors across the Gulf who want to carry the test when it is ready.

Questions about the test

Can I buy the Madani camel pregnancy test?

Not yet. The test is in development and is not for sale.

How will the test work?

It is a test strip that takes a drop of the camel's blood. The Madani app reads the strip with your phone's camera and saves the result to that camel's record.

What does it measure?

Progesterone, the hormone that stays high when a female camel is pregnant.

When will it be available?

We have not announced a date. The test still has to complete development and validation.

How can I take part?

Distributors, camel owners who want to join field trials, and investors can reach Madani through the contact page or on WhatsApp.
